| Tuesday, April 28, 2009 - Mahi-Mahi and White Marlin Catch
|
Capt. Paul got to spend a few days fishing after delivering a new boat to the Abaco's (Bahamas). The water temps off Marsh Harbor were 74 degrees and the catch was better than previous years. "Each day we averaged 15-20 dolphin ranging in size from 15-40 lbs. each. We also averaged 4 white marlin each day. When we brought the white marlin on board, I held it like a baby (mostly to avoid the hook) before releasing it. We ate alot of dolphin, but donoted the majority of dolphin to local Bahamian churches for their Sunday fish fries". |
