BOOKING -
Chances are that when you "book" your day of fishing,
you will talk to Captain Paul's wife, Jeanne. Since Captain Paul
prefers to be fishing, his wife Jeanne does most of the "booking
and cooking". A 50% deposit on the type of charter is required
to hold the day of your choice. Your deposit is fully refundable
if Capt. Paul reschedules due to weather conditions.
For
more information on pricing, please visit the "Contact
Us" page. We accept cash, cashiers checks, direct deposits
and personal checks. Deposits should be made payable to Captain
Paul Thompson and mailed to 4318 Loblolly Circle, Southport, NC 28461.
TIPPING
THE MATE AND CAPTAIN -

If
a Mate is provided, and you had a great day of fishing, it is customary
to tip the Mate. The Captain is optional.
The
Mates job is to ensure you have a fun and safe trip. Whether you
are an experienced fisherman or not, he is experienced in the use
of the rods and tackle we provide. He knows the boat and will explain
the use of the head and various safety features.
The
Captain is responsible for finding the fish, ensuring a safe fishing
experience, and making sure the Mate takes good care of you!
THINGS
TO BRING -
We recommend the following items year round:
- Rain
jacket and/or wind breaker
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
(polarized are the best)
- Closed-toe
shoes ie...deck shoes are the best, but if you don't have a
pair, sneakers are fine. Please do not wear shoes with
black soles (they make clean-up difficult for us).
- Pack
snacks and/or your lunch. Please pre-make your sandwiches and
bring plenty to drink. We have ice on board to keep everything
cold for you.
